Advisory re Adjustment for Philhealth Monthly Premium Contribution

Please be informed that the adjustment for Philhealth Premium contribution due to salary increase of Non-Uniformed Personnel was not implemented during the pay period 1-31 January 2021 and 1-28 February 2021 that has affected NUP with Salary Grade (SG) 20 and below.
In this regard, the new rate for Philhealth Premium Contribution shall be implemented effective March 2021, likewise, the (two) months arrears for January and February 2021 shall be deducted from the salary of the affected NUP on the same pay period (March 2021) under the deduction code of Ph arrears 2021.

Please be guided by the new PNP Memorandum Circulars signed and approved by PGEN DEBOLD M SINAS, Chief, PNP. Under PNP MC No. 2021-005, Automatic Pension Deduction Scheme (APDS) shall not be allowed in the payment of loans and other similar deductions contracted by PNP pensioners after the period of active service or during the period of retirement. Likewise, under PNP MC No. 2021-006 loan and other monetary obligations contracted by the PNP personnel with temporary and/or probationary appointments shall be excluded from the Automatic Salary Deduction Scheme (ASDS). The implementation of the aforesaid PNP MCs shall effect on February 16, 2021.
